Lexus CT200h is the second version of Lexus hybrid technology; it is an updated version of the Prius. The car will be built on blade platform having 5-door hatch back. The car will be priced $30,000 to $35,000 when it arrives to the US market, at the end of this year or in 2011.

Hybrid cars use two power sources to push the car. The two power sources that are being used in hybrid cars are a gasoline engine and one or more electric motors. The gasoline engine feeds on petrol and the electric motor uses electricity, which is stored in batteries. There are two types of hybrid cars that are being produced currently. One is the fully hybrid car, which can run on either one of the two power sources or use both power sources simultaneously. The second hybrid is known as a mild hybrid and uses both, a petrol engine and an electric motor, to power the car. It is called a mild hybrid and cannot run on one power source only.

Man has made and developed many things for his comforts. In this urge of finding comfort, he ignored the cost of this comfort that the whole human kind will have to pay. Lexus has been introduced in the year 2010 with an entirely exclusive entry-level convertible with the publication of IS 250C. This is evidently based on the IS sedan, and hence, is highly affordable and has partial beneficial backseat as compared to the Lexus SC 340 model. The transformation has been from the solid roof with four doors to the retractable roof with two doors only. Lexus has endowed the IS 250C with exclusive long hindquarters to swallow the top roof’s three sects of steel.
