To generate less CO2 emissions start by cutting out any unnecessary weight in your car as possible. If you carry too much extra weight, the engine has to work harder and burns more fuel. Take out all items that you do not need or are not legally required to carry. Remove roof racks or boxes, they cause drag leading to higher fuel consumption and increase noise in the car.
